Course Description:
This online synchronous course will provide a review and enrichment of essential anatomy and kinesiology content included in first year DPT curricula with an emphasis on application and integration to deepen understanding of functional human movement, joint movement and dysfunction. This course prepares learners to successfully navigate the 2nd and 3rd year DPT curricular content which focuses on human movement. The course will begin with a pre-course assessment to establish the specific needs of learners. Active learning strategies and opportunities to interact with the instructor will be key components of this course. Developing skills to deepen and broaden learning strategies and deal with the academic and personal demands of graduate school will also be key components of this course.

Course Description:
This online synchronous course will provide a review and enrichment of essential prerequisite content for success in DPT programs. There will be an emphasis on solidifying content that will aid learners in successful completion of first-year content in DPT curricula. The content will focus on essential anatomy (musculoskeletal, neurologics and systems), physiology, and applied physics as related to movement. Strengthening this content sets learners up for success in the first-year DPT school content that learners typically find most challenging. The course will begin with a pre-course assessment to establish the specific needs of learners. Active learning strategies and opportunities to interact with the instructor will be key components of this course.
